Taylor Swift Dominates People’s Choice Awards
The glamorous 2022 People’s Choice Awards ceremony took place on Tuesday, 6 December, and featured just about every big name in Tinseltown.
Celebrities flocked to the Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California to see each other in their glitzy outfits and their host for the evening, comedian Kenan Thompson. Presenters, model Heidi Klum and actress Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, added some extra flair to the proceedings.
Singer Taylor Swift remains a fan favourite, walking away from the evening with three awards for the year; the 32-year-old starlet earned the Best Female Artist, the Best Music Video for her “Anti-Hero” single, and the Best Album for her recent “Midnights” LP.
South Korean band BTS claimed two awards: the Best Group of 2022 and the Best Concert Tour of 2022. Their lead singer, Jung Kook, was also honoured with the award for Best Collaboration Song of the year for his feature on Charlie Puth’s “Left and Right” single.
Socialite Khloe Kardashian almost missed receiving the Best Reality Show award alongside her mother, Kris Jenner, as she was “trying to fix her hair” at the time of the announcement. However, she joined her mother on stage in a matching black outfit, setting the world right once more.
